Higher Education

C-CAT has completed new construction, renovations, and additions for multiple higher education facilities throughout the state. We have done repeat business with several colleges and universities including but not limited to; Purdue University, Indiana University, Vincennes University, Indiana State University, and Earlham College.

Purdue University

C-CAT has worked with Purdue University on many projects since 2005.  Projects have included new construction as well as renovation and IT upgrades in existing buildings.  We have served as a prime contractor as well as subcontractor on multiple contracts.

Honors College: Completed in 2016.  Project consisted of 13 telecom closets with copper and fiber backbone as well as over 1,800 Cat6 cables. This was a new construction project in which C-CAT coordinate with the prime contractor to fulfill obligations called out in project schedule.
Engineering Polytechnic: Currently in progress.  Project will consist of 11 telecom closets with copper and fiber backbone as well as over 1,900 Cat6A cables. C-CAT is serving as a subcontractor to the construction team and looks forward to completing the installation of this cutting-edge new college for Purdue.

Indiana University

C-CAT has worked with IU on many projects since 2010.  Projects have included new construction as well as renovation and IT upgrades in existing buildings.  We have served as a prime contractor as well as subcontractor on multiple contracts.

Luddy Hall School of Informatics: Completed in 2017.  Project consisted of 9 telecom closets with fiber backbone cabling as well as over 1,700 Cat6A cables.  This was a new construction project in which C-CAT coordinate with the prime contractor to fulfill obligations called out in project schedule.
Godfrey Graduate Network Cabling Upgrade: Completed in 2019.  Project consisted of 11 telecom closets as well as over 2,500 Cat6A cables.  This was a project in which C-CAT served as the prime contractor to IU.  We were able to develop project timeline and fully complete the project within the 10-week summer break timeline to utilize building downtime to have cabling completed for student and staff return.
